TRANSPORT (Courtesy bus)
The organisers will arrange a courtesy bus to transport delegates from the preferred hotels to the CSIR ICC in the morning and back after the day’s proceedings/social function. Delegates wishing to make use of the courtesy bus should tick the relevant section on the registration form.
Continuing Professional Development Points (SAICE)
Registered delegates will receive 1 Point per day of attendance.
The essay competition is open to all registered students (undergraduate as well as post-graduate) at tertiary institutions. The competition is held within the institutions and each institution will select its two winners.
Students need to prepare a five-page essay according to the conference paper format on “Rethinking Transportation: planning and building resilient systems to meet global externalities”, providing innovative solutions for the conference theme. Institutions must submit the winning entries by 10 May 2023 so that they may be included on the SATC 2023 Memory Stick. Winning students and their lecturer will receive a complimentary registration for SATC 2023. Transport to Pretoria and accommodation will also be sponsored.
