The Southern Transport Conference (SATC) is the longest running transport conference in Africa. Most of the conference contributions are in the form of peer-reviewed papers which are presented in the relevant conference sessions. A double-blind peer review process is followed, where at least two reviewers are required, to ensure that each paper is of a high standard, with high technical accuracy and free from obvious errors and misstatements. The peer review process ensures that information disseminated at the conference is reliable and contributes to improved knowledge and practices.

The conference wishes to update its database of reviewers, with a view to maximising diversity, increasing the number of expert reviewers with specialist knowledge, and increase the geographical spread of reviewers.
